Workers Compensation Patients

Dr Moloney treats a lot of workers compensation patients.

Workers Compensation Patients

Our team have refined the system for keeping track of our patients workers compensation claims and where things are up to.  Whenever we request any treatment for one of our workers compensation patients we note it on a list so we can follow up with the insurance company, avoiding unnecessary delays.

We know how frustrating things can be for people involved with a workers compensation claim and we do our best to make our patients experience as smooth as possible.  Of course, this is not always possible as we can’t control the insurance company but we do everything we can from our end to assist our patients.  While this may be a patients first experience with a workers compensation claim our staff deal with workers compensation insurance companies all the time and are experienced in navigating the pit falls that can often delay the progress of a workers compensation claim.

If you aren’t sure where you stand with your workers compensation claim and are confused by what you are being told you can always speak with the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who are in charge of New South Wales insurance claims and make guidelines that insurance companies have to follow to ensure that anyone making a claim is treated properly.  If you feel you are not receiving the appropriate treatment you can contact SIRA and make a forma complaint and they will look into it for you.
