We begin a New Year and January is already over. The practice of medicine and surgery in particular has never been so exciting in Wollongong.
The Theatres and Intensive Care Unit at Wollongong Private Hospital are now open and are truly stunning. The theatres are state of the art and it is a joy to operate in them and care for patients on the wards. Ramsay Health Care, the CEO David Crowe and his staff should be proud of themselves.
The new hospital has excellent neurosurgical and spine surgery facilities that enhance our ability to care for our patients. I would like to remind you that I remain part of Ramsay’s private hospital in Wollongong.
My Wollongong rooms are still at Level 5, 85 Smith Street, Wollongong. I continue to sub-specialise in spine surgery, peripheral nerve surgery as well as injection therapy.
