During Surgery

Dr Moloney partners with leading hospitals that provide a best practice standard of patient care.

Providing the best practises

Dr Moloney partners with leading hospitals that provide a best practice standard of patient care. He leads a large team of theatre, ward and ancillary staff from specialist areas within the hospital such as intensive care and radiology. Pre-operative procedures include cleaning the site of entry, changing into the appropriate gowns and understanding the medical history of the patient, including their last meal and current medications.

During surgery Dr Moloney and the hospital staff work hard to monitor the patient and ensure the procedure is low-risk in every way. The positioning of the surgical patient is vital at this point and helps to prevent serious adverse complications. Dr Moloney uses a table known as a Jackson Frame that provides the very best support for the patient during surgery.

Patients commonly stay in the recovery room for a number of hours where they are monitored post-surgery.
