Patient Care - Conditions

Conditions

Spinal conditions are like people, in that no two are alike. Dr Moloney takes a highly individualised approach to diagnosing the spinal pathology of his patients. Through careful listening and investigations he develops treatment plans that often differ in important ways from cases you may find online or hear about from friends and family. For this reason it is vital that patients do not come to the process with pre-conceived ideas. Dr Moloney does recommend that patients acquire a basic understanding of their condition once diagnosed, and the online video library and downloadable brochures can help to provide such an understanding.

In most cases patients can find more conservative modalities, such as physiotherapy, to address their spinal disorder. The most common conditions listed in the video library relate to injuries, disc herniations or degenerative diseases of the lumbar (lower back), or cervical (neck) regions.
